Elysian Rose Aesthetics & Wellness in Encinitas: Rooted in Heritage
When deciding on a name for my aesthetics and wellness sanctuary, it wasn’t just about picking a name that felt like it captured my love of holistic health. It was about weaving together the threads of my history that led me to this place: owning my own aesthetics and wellness spa.
I desired to create a space where my clients feel nurtured, revitalized, and cared for the second they walk in the door. This is the story of how my namesake Elysian Rose Aesthetics & Wellness was created.
My family’s history in Elysian Heights, Los Angeles, spans generations. My family ties to this neighborhood go back to the 1940s and my connection to this area runs deep.
I grew up adjacent to Elysian Park, attended Elysian Heights Elementary School, and walked the same halls and learned in classrooms that my mother and her sisters did before me.
Although I now call Encinitas home and serve the Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, and Del Mar areas, Los Angeles has always been a part of me. Following the devastating Los Angeles fires, I realized just how deeply connected I am to this city.
I watched anxiously, hoping Elysian Park, a place filled with my childhood memories, would be spared and while I now embrace a more low-key, coastal lifestyle in Encinitas, my heart is still tied to Elysian Park.
“Choosing Elysian as part of my business name was a way to honor where I came from and the city that led me here to Encinitas.”
Elysian also ties into the feeling I want my clients to feel when they walk into my wellness spa in Encinitas because Elysian refers to a blissful heavenly state. I resonated with this because as a deeply spiritual person, I know the name of my wellness spa and practice means everything.
The name captured everything I imagined for my Encinitas aesthetics and wellness spa, including my view of spirituality, and the high-vibrational and heavenly states I want my clients to feel.

Originally from Puerto Rico, she worked hard to build a better life for my mother and her sisters, passing down her wisdom, determination, and fiery spirit.
Everything I’ve achieved, my education, my career, and the creation of this business, has her support at the center. She is the embodiment of everything I want Elysian Rose Aesthetics & Wellness to represent: full of love, care, and beauty.
As she nears the end of her life, I wanted to create something that would honor her legacy and the generations of women who came before me.
While my path in the beauty industry has shaped my expertise, my passion goes far beyond traditional aesthetics.
I have dedicated many years of my life to advanced training in wellness, integrating a holistic approach into all of my services.
