Please note that a lot of physical and emotional energy goes into providing a complete and integrated wellness session. Tips are very much appreciated. The suggested amount is 15%-20% of the session price. However, please note that our pricing reflects the fact that not everyone can afford to tip or some see the service as more transactional in nature. There is no shaming based on how much you choose to tip.

A 24-hour cancellation is required. Less than a 24-hour cancellation will result in a 50% charge. No shows will result in a 100% charge of the booked service(s). Emergencies happen, so this may be waived at the practitioner’s discretion.
Facial FAQ
-
We recommend booking at least a 90-minute session for your first visit. This allows for a full consultation, assessment of your skincare routine, and a deeply restorative treatment tailored to your needs.
-
For optimal skin health, we suggest a facial every 4-6 weeks. However, frequency may vary based on your skin concerns and goals.
-
We carefully select our product lines to be free from harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and irritants, making them suitable for sensitive skin.
-
Yes, we offer facials with products and tools that are pregnancy safe. Mamas deserve to be deeply cared for, so book a facial with us to restore your body, mind, and spirit.
-
Avoid prolonged sun exposure before a treatment. Avoid exfoliation the day before, during or after a facial service. Additionally, avoid being waxed or sugared for at least one week before getting a facial. Please stop all topical Vitamin C and Retinoids on the face, neck, and chest areas at least a week prior to your appointment. It is helpful if you come to your appointment with no make-up on, but we will be cleansing the skin either way, so it’s not a big deal if you arrive with make-up on.
-
You may feel sensitivity after your service if we did a lot of extractions or a lot of exfoliation. We recommend you avoid sun exposure the day of your facial and ideally over the first 1-2 weeks following your facial. Do not use any products with hydroxy acids and/or exfoliate in any way for at least 24 to 48 hours. It is recommended that you don’t do anything that would cause you to sweat a lot after your facial (avoid saunas, working out, hot yoga, etc.). Make sure to drink a lot of water and take it easy for the rest of the day as your skin and nervous system integrate post-service.
Craniosacral Therapy FAQ
-
Clients receive treatments fully-clothed on a massage table. Clients often experience deep relaxation, a meditative state, or subtle physical sensations during the session due to the gentle, light touch, and energetic nature of the work. Sessions are highly customized based on where the client is in their health journey and what they’re experiencing in life when they arrive at their session. While much of the work is focused on the brain and spinal cord, craniosacral therapy is a full-body treatment that can address pain and tension in the connective tissue, resolve structural strain patterns and heal injuries, and alleviate unresolved somato-emotional patterns that may be contributing to holding patterns or resulting in dis-ease that’s showing up in the body.
-
Our owner has completed advanced training to support these populations. Please reach out to Elysian Rose for a complimentary consultation to discuss your unique needs. You can also book an appointment now and fill out our online intake forms. Every appointment includes detailed intake prior to treatments.
-
Yes, CST is extremely gentle, non-invasive, and safe for all ages. It is informed by an advanced understanding of anatomy and CST benefits are supported by clinical research. It’s important that your service provider demonstrate expertise and advanced training. Our owner has taken 7 craniosacral therapy intensive trainings, including 3 advanced trainings, with the esteemed and highly respected Upledger Institute, reflecting the gold standard of training.
-
Practitioner training is rooted in an understanding of physiological and psycho-emotional mechanisms of disease, as well as psychological concepts. These therapeutic frameworks draw from what Carl Jung called "active imagination," which is a way to bridge the gap between the non-conscious and the conscious. Along with imagery and conversation, active imagination can include dream work and art. This approach to Somato-Emotional Release also combines various Gestalt techniques from Fritz Perls and Roberto Assagioli's Psychosynthesis framework.
-
Craniosacral Practitioners observe what shifts are happening for a client during the session, and as appropriate, dialogue is introduced to work with the client’s unconscious holding patterns that may have emotional components. Creative and therapeutic imagery may be utilized to draw on the client’s own inner wisdom and higher self to assist with their own deeper, integrated healing process.
-
Many clients report feeling deep relaxation, clarity, and a sense of emotional balance. Some experience mild detox symptoms such as fatigue, increased elimination, or emotional release, which is a natural part of the healing process as your body unwinds and releases what no longer serves you.
-
This depends on your individual needs and goals. For acute issues, 3-5 sessions are recommended. For chronic issues or deep emotional work, a longer series of extended treatments is beneficial. We will discuss your progress after each session and customize your treatment plan accordingly.

Lymphatic Drainage FAQ
-
The session requires the client to be fully disrobed, but the body will remain draped with a sheet throughout the session, with only areas exposed receiving treatment.
-
The Dr. Vodder method of lymphatic drainage is incredibly gentle and non-invasive. You should not experience any discomfort. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing, soothing, and meditative.
-
We ask that you do not eat at least 1.5 hours before the session as every session includes abdominal work and deep diaphragmatic breathing. Please do your best to use the bathroom before the session and drink plenty of water following treatment. Avoid heavy meals or caffeine within a couple of hours before your treatment. Avoid alcohol for at least 12 hours, ideally 24 hours before your treatment.
-
You may feel a sense of lightness, relaxation, and increased energy. Some clients notice more frequent urination and elimination as the body eliminates excess fluids and supports enhanced digestive functions. Overall, if you can take it easy after your treatment, that will help your body continue cleaning itself out in the hours and evening after your session.
-
For lymphatic drainage sessions, it is strongly advised to book a 90-minute session to receive a thorough treatment that doesn’t feel rushed. If you are truly constrained with time, 75 minutes still allows for meaningful work. A 60-minute session may work for those who aren’t seeking full-body and face work and just want to target specific areas or support post-surgery healing.
-
For general health and vitality, monthly or weekly sessions are recommended for basic maintenance. If you’re experiencing any of the indications mentioned above, weekly sessions are optimal to alleviate symptoms and accelerate healing. Post-surgical clients may require multiple sessions over several weeks for optimal results. During your first appointment, we will provide a personalized treatment plan based on your goals.
